under the tab "general", the following settings are possible
  1. General reader setting - Here you can define the reader as your "Default reader" for news channels. This means that all news channels that you subscribe to are opened with this reader.


  2. Automatic Updates - The reader can search for new versions or updates every time it is started. You can use this function to always have the most recent reader version available.


  3. Archive - Here you can define how many news items the reader is to store in the archive.
    You can delete the entire contents of the archive with one single click.


  4. Autostart Reader - – If you activate this option,
    the reader starts automatically every time the system is started up.
